Bob Durbin graduated from Youngstown State University in June of 1992 and began working full time for the Columbiana County Engineer as a bridge design engineer. Bob was promoted to Chief Deputy Engineer in 1996 and worked in that capacity until May of 2016.
In June of 2017 Bob was hired as the Deputy Engineer for Mahoning County and has served in that capacity since. As the Deputy Engineer, Bob oversees the daily operations of the Engineering and Administration Departments, the Bridge Inspection & Replacement Program and the ODOT LPA Federal Aid program.
Bob’s is currently overseeing $52.5 million dollars of projects, six road projects totaling $42.2 million and ten bridge projects totaling $10.3 million.
