Medina County Engineer
Andy graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and a certificate in land surveying.
Andy began his full-time engineering career after college with a consulting engineering firm in their land development department. He began working for the Medina County Engineer as the Subdivision Engineer in 2000. He was promoted to Chief Deputy Engineer in 2005.
Andy began serving as the Medina County Engineer in 2017. He takes pride in encouraging his employees to look for innovative ways to improve the operations of the office. Under his leadership, the County Engineer’s office has started constructing bridges with county forces, created a schedule to replace their aging equipment and fleet vehicles, and registered to become a successful CDL-training provider.
